En 2016 en Katmandú, Hicimos todo lo posible para registrar el nombre de dominio Autistan.org.np, porque poseer un nombre de dominio nacional de Internet (dominio de nivel superior con código de país, ccTLD) is crucial for our concept of virtual embassies, since it creates a legal link between us and a country.
np.Autistan.org (currently used) is just a subdomain of Autistan.org, it’s not linked legally to Nepal.
We can use any characters to make a subdomain, like “nepal.Autistan.org”, o “whatever.Autistan.org”.
The good news is that it’s impossible to purchase .np domains, because they are – surprisingly – free of charge…
The bad news is that in order to obtain one, you need to have a legal entity with the same name, meaning we have to create a Nepalese association called “Autistán…”: we tried, but it’s REALLY too much difficult for us.
